We are looking for a Lube Lane Auto Mechanic to inspect vehicles, change oil/rotate tires, and willing to complete hands on and manufacture training working towards a career as a Manufacture Certified Technician. This individual must be detail oriented and thorough. They must adhere to dealership policy and procedures for processing data and required manufacture documentation as well. Responsibilities Inspect vehicle wear items such as tires, lubricants, brake pads, filters, etc. Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts, rotating tires, etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks) when able Ensure proper inspection thoroughness by using dealer systems/programs for recording vehicle information Maintain equipment and tools in good condition Conduct Manufacture training as assigned Follow instructions and policies Complete assigned manufacture and on-site training for career progession Skills Some experience as lube technician would be helpful Ability to handle various tools (e.g. pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g. lift) Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc. Good physical condition High school diploma is preferred but not necessary Ability to drive a vehicle legally Valid certification (e.g ASE) is a definite plus! Onsite GM training will be required once hired.
