Fleet Service Advisor / Service Writer Integrity Parts & Service - Elkhart, Indiana Integrity Parts & Service is looking for an experienced Fleet Service Advisor to manage and grow our commercial and fleet business. This position is ideal for someone who understands automotive service, communicates well with fleet managers and drivers, and has hands-on experience using Auto Integrate. This is more than a traditional service-writing position. The person we hire will be responsible for building lasting fleet relationships, obtaining timely repair authorizations, keeping vehicles moving through the shop, submitting accurate invoices, and developing new fleet business. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for fleet managers, drivers, leasing companies, and fleet-management providers. Create accurate repair orders and clearly document vehicle concerns. Submit estimates, supporting documentation, photographs, and repair recommendations through Auto Integrate. Monitor pending authorizations and follow up promptly to prevent repair delays. Communicate approval status, repair progress, completion times, and unexpected changes to fleet customers. Review technician inspections and translate findings into clear, professional repair recommendations. Verify labor times, parts pricing, fleet-specific pricing requirements, and authorization limits. Ensure all approved work is properly documented before repairs begin. Submit completed invoices promptly and correct any rejected or disputed transactions. Coordinate scheduling and repair priorities with technicians, parts personnel, and management. Monitor open repair orders, aging work, declined services, and vehicles waiting for authorization. Build relationships with existing fleet accounts and identify opportunities to increase service volume. Prospect for local commercial accounts, including contractors, delivery companies, municipalities, property-management companies, and other businesses operating multiple vehicles. Conduct follow-up calls with fleet customers and help resolve service or billing concerns. Assist with retail service customers when fleet workload allows. Protect company profitability while maintaining honest recommendations and excellent customer service. Required Qualifications Previous automotive service advisor or service writer experience. Working experience with the Auto Integrate fleet-maintenance platform. Understanding of automotive maintenance, mechanical repairs, labor times, parts pricing, and repair-order documentation. Experience communicating with fleet-management companies and obtaining electronic repair authorizations. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple vehicles and approvals simultaneously. Professional written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable discussing repair recommendations and pricing with customers. Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record. Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to follow work through to completion. Preferred Qualifications Two or more years of automotive service-advisor experience. Experience developing or managing commercial fleet accounts. Experience with Tekmetric or a similar shop-management system. Existing relationships with local businesses or fleet operators. Familiarity with preventive-maintenance scheduling, fleet invoicing, and accounts-receivable follow-up. What We Offer Competitive guaranteed base salary.
