Automotive Repair Experience Required Chevy of Merrillville is seeking to hire a skilled Used Car Technician to join our team! Our busy, modern service center is equipped with the latest tools and technology, giving our technicians everything they need to deliver top-quality repairs and maintenance and maintain a consistent stream of work. Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain used Chevrolets and other vehicles to factory standards Perform routine services including oil changes, brakes, alignments, and tire services Handle electrical, engine performance, and drivability diagnostics Complete warranty and recall work following GM guidelines Document all repairs and communicate clearly with service advisors Road test vehicles to confirm quality and safety of completed work Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards Stay current with GM training, technology, and service updates  
Qualifications/Requirements:
  Previous used car repair / reconditioning experience required GM experience or GM certification is a plus Solid diagnostic and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
