Job Overview We are seeking an Experienced Extrusion Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating plastic extrusion machinery and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Set-up and prepare Plastic Extrusion Machine's according to schedules.
• Operate machinery to include start up, adjustments, monitor process and shutting down the machinery
• Monitor and control the extrusion process parameters to include pressure, speed, temperature and material flow to obtain the desired product specifications.
• Conduct quality inspections using tools such as calipers and micrometers to adhere to product specifications.
• Assist with troubleshooting and adjusting equipment to include performing minor repairs
• Follow safety protocols and maintain production records and keep a clean work environment

Skills:

• Experience in Plastic Molding, plastic extrusion or related field
• Mechanical knowledge of machine set-up and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in quality inspection techniques
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
