Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Automotive Lube Tech to join our service team. This role involves performing routine vehicle maintenance and ensuring customer vehicles are serviced efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with automotive repair, and excellent customer service skills. Prior dealership or service technician experience is a plus, along with familiarity with automotive diagnostics and mechanical tools. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and safety are paramount. Responsibilities Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and basic vehicle inspections with precision and efficiency Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks including fluid checks, filter replacements, and belt inspections Assist with wheel alignments and tire services using appropriate tools and equipment Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to identify and address vehicle issues Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all safety protocols are followed during service procedures Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance if needed Support the team in performing more complex repairs as skills develop Assist in maintaining inventory of parts and supplies needed for routine services Requirements Prior dealership or automotive repair experience preferred; mechanic experience highly valued Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and service procedures Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) as required for certain tasks Strong mechanical knowledge with an emphasis on oil changes, alignments, tire service, and general vehicle maintenance Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred This position is ideal for individuals passionate about automotive repair who want to grow their skills within a supportive team environment.
