Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Import Automotive Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various vehicle issues. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment. Starting flat rate pay dependant on experience.
Duties:
- Perform automotive diagnostics to identify issues with vehicles
- Repair and maintain powertrain components, including engines and differentials
- Conduct mechanical repairs on various vehicle systems, such as brakes, suspension, and steering
- Estimate repair costs for customers
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete repairs
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to guide repair processes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Import Automotive Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures
- Familiarity with powertrain systems and components
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for repairs
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality workmanship
- Ability to communicate and work well with others
- Maintain a professional apperance and attitude
