Job Skills / Requirements Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Vehicle Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain cars, trucks, and/or commercial vehicles. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on experience, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, brake service, and fluid checks
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using diagnostic tools and software
Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure proper operation
Maintain accurate service and repair records
Follow safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines
Communicate repair needs and timelines clearly to service advisors or customers
Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED required
Completion of a vocational or technical automotive program preferred
Proven experience as an automotive or vehicle mechanic
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems (mechanical, electrical, and electronic)
Ability to use diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools
Valid driver's license (commercial license may be required for some roles)
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical ability to lift heavy parts and stand for extended periods Certifications (Preferred) ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications #PersonalAccountability2026 Additional Information / Benefits Optional daily pay
