Job Summary Key Responsibilities + Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, brake service, and fluid checks + Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using diagnostic tools and software + Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure proper operation + Maintain accurate service and repair records + Follow safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines + Communicate repair needs and timelines clearly to service advisors or customers + Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards Qualifications & Skills + High school diploma or GED required + Completion of a vocational or technical automotive program preferred + Proven experience as an automotive or vehicle mechanic + Strong knowledge of vehicle systems (mechanical, electrical, and electronic) + Ability to use diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools + Valid driver's license (commercial license may be required for some roles) + Attention to detail and problem-solving skills + Ability to work independently and as part of a team + Physical ability to lift heavy parts and stand for extended periods Certifications (Preferred) + ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications Optional daily pay
