Frank Black Pipe & Supply Co. is seeking a skilled and motivated full-time Mechanic to join our team! We are a family owned and operated steel pipe dealer based in McPherson, Kansas, providing steel pipe and other related steel material. This position involves working on a wide variety of vehicles and equipment, including: Semi-trucks and trailers Loaders, forklifts, and UTVs Welders, generators, and lawn equipment

Key Responsibilities:

Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on diverse equipment Complete and submit repair orders accurately, tracking time and expenses Conduct preventative maintenance, manage schedules of all units - includes parts ordering/management of parts & supply inventory Class A CDL required, training available for the right candidate DOT inspections Drive company vehicles when needed Assist in the Pipe Yard and/or Weld Shop as required

1-5 years,

Preferred:

5+ years Recent technical school graduates considered based on ability

DOT Certification:

REQUIRED

Strong organizational skills, reliability, and attention to detail Excellent communication and listening skills; team-oriented Computer proficiency and problem-solving ability
