Assemble industrial valves and components according to blueprints, specifications, and instructions. Inspect parts for defects, accuracy, and compliance prior to assembly. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized assembly equipment. Perform functional and pressure tests to ensure leak-free and proper operation. Identify and report defects, non-conformances, or equipment malfunctions. Follow quality control processes and complete inspection documentation accurately. Maintain detailed production records, including quantities and traceability information. Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Keep the workspace organized, clean, and well-maintained. Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality. Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Must pass a pre-employment background and drug test.
Preferred:
Experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or industrial production.
Skills and Knowledge:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical drawings. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers). Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
