Employee discounts on parts, services, and vehicle purchases Paid training and continuing education Responsibilities Draining the oil from a vehicle and replacing it to manufacturer specifications Topping off other fluids, including brake, power steering and windshield wiper fluid Inspecting the engine block and underbody for leaks and potential issues Checking tire pressure and filling tires with air as needed to manufacture specifications Installing new car parts, such as air filters, oil filters, windshield wipers and batteries Lubricating moving parts as necessary, including those in the engine and wheel bearings and ensuring the engine is kept clean throughout servicing Diagnosing existing issues and consulting with lead mechanics on the team to address the vehicles' issues
Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience with servicing vehicles Valid driver's license Pre-employment drug test and background check Time management and organizational skills as well as hand and eye coordination Effective communication and customer service skills The ability to read and follow complex directions in manuals as well as relay information in reports The physical ability to perform all tasks related to the position of Lube Technician, such as bending reaching, standing for long periods of time and lifting over 60 pounds M-F/8-5
