Job Summary We are seeking an Automotive Mechanic / Technician for a direct hire opportunity in Shreveport, LA. This role is open to automotive technicians at all skill levels, from newer mechanics with basic maintenance experience to highly skilled technicians with engine, transmission, diagnostics, and major repair experience. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general automotive repair, maintenance, and mechanical service work.
- Complete oil changes, preventative maintenance, brake repairs, suspension repairs, and related services.
- Diagnose vehicle concerns and perform troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical systems.
- Repair or replace engines, transmissions, and related components based on skill level.
- Maintain accurate work quality while meeting productivity expectations in a flag-hour environment.
- Follow shop procedures, safety guidelines, and professional service standards. Compensation and Benefits

- Perform automotive repair and maintenance services.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical vehicle issues.
- Complete brake, suspension, engine, transmission, and general repair work based on skill level.
- Maintain productivity and quality in a steady-service environment.
- Automotive mechanical experience at any skill level, from newer technician to experienced mechanic.
- Experience with general automotive repair, oil changes, preventative maintenance, brakes, suspension, diagnostics, electrical repairs, engine repair, or transmission repair.
- Ability to use standard automotive tools and follow repair procedures.
- Dependable work habits, strong attention to detail, and commitment to quality repairs.
- Ability to work efficiently in a flag-hour environment with steady workload.
- Hardworking, reliable, and ready to contribute in a fast-paced automotive repair setting. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with engine repair, transmission repair, engine replacement, or transmission replacement.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability.
- Previous experience working in a high-volume automotive repair or service environment.
- ASE certifications are a plus.
