Walker, Gonzales, Prairieville & Gramercy, LA FlexForce is hiring Automotive Service Technicians / Lube & Tire Technicians for established automotive service shops throughout Southeast Louisiana. We are looking for dependable, mechanically inclined candidates with previous automotive service, oil change, tire, or general vehicle maintenance experience . If you've worked for a quick-lube shop, tire shop, dealership service department, automotive repair shop, or similar environment , we want to talk to you. You do not need to be a master mechanic or ASE-certified technician. Job Responsibilities Perform oil and filter changes Check and top off vehicle fluids Rotate tires Mount and balance tires Perform basic tire repairs Check tire pressure and tread condition Inspect brakes and other basic vehicle components Replace batteries, air filters, wiper blades, bulbs, and similar components Perform basic preventive maintenance Assist with brake, suspension, and other mechanical repairs as needed Safely operate vehicle lifts and shop equipment Use common automotive hand and power tools Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all shop procedures and safety requirements Qualifications Previous automotive service, oil change, tire, or mechanical experience preferred Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair Comfortable using hand and power tools Strong mechanical aptitude Ability and willingness to learn additional automotive repair skills Dependable attendance and reliable transportation Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license preferred ASE certification is a plus but not required Relevant Experience May Include Lube Technician Oil Change Technician Tire Technician Automotive Service Technician General Service Technician Mechanic Helper Automotive Technician Helper Dealership Lube Technician Quick-Lube Technician Pay $15.00 - $18.00 per hour DOE Starting pay will depend on previous automotive experience and demonstrated skill level.
