Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on BMW vehicles using automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and drivetrain systems, ensuring optimal vehicle performance. Repair vehicle suspension systems, alignments, and steering components to maintain safety and handling standards. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and electrical system schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical issues within vehicle systems. Service and repair advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), including sensors, cameras, and electronic controls for enhanced vehicle safety features. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to complete maintenance tasks efficiently. Maintain detailed service records, perform auto estimating for repairs, and communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines. Qualifications Proven dealership experience as an automotive technician or service technician with a strong background in BMW or similar luxury vehicles. Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, mechanical repairs, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Familiarity with automotive wiring diagram interpretation and troubleshooting of complex vehicle systems. Hands-on experience with vehicle transmission system repair, diesel engine repair (preferred), and vehicle suspension system repair. Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic tools, power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude combined with excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive client experience. Ability to read schematics accurately and apply technical knowledge to solve challenging automotive issues efficiently.
