Job Description
European Motor Works is the premier auto repair facility for German vehicles in the area. We are currently looking to possibly expand our team to an individual looking to work in a small but growing independent specialty shop. We have a very good client base for normal day to day service work and we have
MULTIPLE
other garages and dealerships who sublet or refer the more advanced or difficult work to us. We do offer aftermarket performance installs as well. We are not totally limited to just German vehicles; some clients have a variety of cars ranging from Toyota to Ferrari. Our work is not limited to just modern cars we also take the older stuff as well, so you should be comfortable with how the older stuff works. We are really looking for a VERY good A/B level Technician. Someone who knows their stuff and can accurately communicate as well. This individual will be working with techs, around customers, other people and will be expected to handle themselves professionally (even if the question is painful). AboveALL ELSE

We are looking for someone good AND fun to be around. Disrespect and creation of a toxic work environment for either techs or customers will not be tolerated.Responsibilities:
- Perform automotive repairs and maintenance tasks, including but not limited to engine repairs, brake inspections, oil changes, and tire rotations in a clean and safe manner.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and provide accurate estimates for repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and explaining repair recommendations, both to staff as well as customers.
- Aid with other techs/staff with issues or needing help.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician with no less than 7 years' professional experience.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems. For both OLDER vehicles as well as MODERN vehicles
- Excellence in using power tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- The ability to routinely lift and move objects / parts etc. over 75lbs without problems.
- Certifications are preferred but not required.
