Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across vehicle electrical systems, powertrains, transmissions, suspension systems, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Repair and maintain various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, steering, brakes, and electrical wiring diagrams interpretation. Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and suspension system repairs to ensure optimal performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive repair techniques to execute repairs efficiently and accurately. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex automotive systems on GM vehicles or similar models. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating procedures, and ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Requirements Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repairs. Proficiency in reading automotive wiring diagrams, schematics, and understanding vehicle electrical systems. Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, diesel engine repair, vehicle transmission system repair, and wheel alignment procedures. Mechanical knowledge of powertrain components, vehicle suspension systems, transmissions, and overall automotive electrical systems. Familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools such as scan tools and software for troubleshooting complex issues. Ability to interpret technical manuals accurately and work efficiently using hand tools and power tools. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Valid mechanic license or certification preferred; experience working with GM vehicles is a plus.
