$120000 - $160000 A robotics and automation startup in Massachusetts is building a next-generation system to fully automate a process that has been done manually for decades and they're hiring a full-time Senior Mechanical Engineer to help bring it to life. This is a highly hands-on role where you'll be designing and developing the core mechatronic systems behind an industrial robotics platform. You'll see your work go from concept to real, physical machines that actively lift, move, and service objects in real time. If you enjoy building end-to-end systems and working on technology that operates in the real world, this is a strong opportunity.
  • What they're looking for:
  • 5+ years of experience in robotics, automation, or mechanical engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Strong experience designing electro-mechanical systems from concept through production
  • Proficiency with CAD, GD&T, and FEA
  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging mechanical systems
  • Nice to have:
  • Experience with DFM
  • Familiarity with MATLAB or Python
  • Experience collaborating with embedded or cross-functional engineering teams
  • What you'll be doing:
