Automotive Service Technicians and MD State Inspectors

We are seeking Automotive Service Technicians and certified Maryland State Inspector Technicians to join our team. Responsibilities - Automotive Technician Perform routine and complex repairs on automotive vehicles, including diagnostics, brake repairs, engine tune-ups, and exhaust work. Conduct vehicle inspections to identify safety and maintenance issues. Maintain accurate service records and documentation. Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle condition and necessary repairs. Follow all safety regulations and company policies while working in the shop. Continuously update knowledge of automotive technology and repair techniques. Responsibilities - Certified MD State Inspector Technician Perform state-mandated vehicle inspections in accordance with Maryland Department of Transportation regulations. Inspect vehicles' safety equipment, emissions, frame, tires, lights, brakes, and other critical components. Document inspection results accurately and issue inspection certificates when appropriate. Communicate inspection findings clearly to customers and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the inspection area and tools. Stay current with Maryland State inspection procedures, regulations, and safety standards. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols while performing inspections. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as an automotive service technician, mechanic, or Maryland State Inspector Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostic tools, and repair procedures. Ability to use diagnostic equipment and hand tools efficiently. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Valid driver's license. Additional Requirements for MD State Inspector Technicians Valid Maryland State Inspector Technician certification/license. Proven experience conducting vehicle inspections or working in an automotive service environment. Benefits Competitive hourly pay ranging from $20.00 to $55.00, paid bi-weekly.
