Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle operation. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy equipment mechanics techniques to execute repairs efficiently. Work with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and auto electrical systems to calibrate and repair modern vehicle features. Follow manufacturer specifications and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electronic problems on diverse vehicle makes including GM vehicles. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction with the service process. Qualifications Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with dealership experience preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including diesel engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, and electrical components. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and schematics for accurate troubleshooting. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools Ability to perform maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire services, alignments, and suspension repairs efficiently. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a customer-focused attitude to deliver high-quality service consistently.
