We are looking for an energetic, customer-focused Automotive Service writer to join our fast -paced service team. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, listen carefully to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs. Explain repair recommendations clearly, utilizing estimating software and automotive diagnostics tools to provide transparent estimates. Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, suspension work, or alignment services to maximize customer value. Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of services. Maintain detailed service writing records and update clients on repair status throughout the process. Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash handling procedures. Communicate effectively with clients about vehicle maintenance needs, repair options, and recommended services to build trust and confidence. Requirements Proven experience as an automotive service advisor or in a similar auto service management role. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience as a service technician or in automotive diagnostics. Familiarity with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally. Ability to upsell services confidently while ensuring customer satisfaction. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with driving various vehicle types is preferred.
