Diesel Mechanic- Eliot ME Level B Diesel Mechanic $2,000 Sign-On Bonus! $35.00-$38.00 per hour, depending on experience 5-9 Years of Diesel Mechanic Experience Required Overview We are seeking an experienced Level B Diesel Mechanic with 5-9 years of hands-on heavy-duty diesel experience to join our team. This position is responsible for engine diagnostics and repairs, as well as advanced transmissions, rear ends, electrical systems, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and other major vehicle systems. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled, self-sufficient mechanic who can diagnose complex problems, determine the root cause, and complete repairs independently while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and reliability. Duties & Responsibilities Perform diagnostics, repair, and preventative maintenance on heavy-duty diesel engines and related systems Diagnose and repair complex engine performance and drivability issues Perform major engine repairs on diesel engine rebuilds to manufacturer specifications Diagnose and repair complex electrical systems, wiring, and components Advanced transmissions and rear-end assemblies Perform advanced suspension, steering, and alignment repairs Diagnose and repair wheel-end and brake systems Diagnose and repair HVAC systems Perform inspections and identify necessary repairs to ensure vehicle safety, reliability, and compliance Use air tools, torches, welders, and other shop equipment safely and effectively Complete accurate service records and repair documentation Follow all
