Job Description
Osgoods Engine & Automotive is looking to hire an Automotive Technician to join our growing team! We are a family-owned company with a strong presence and history in Fryeburg, Maine. We are looking for long term team player who enjoys working in a shop where everyone gets along and helps each other. Experience in small engine repair is a plus. Qualifications Must have own tools 3+ years of experience ASE Certification is a plus, but not required Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail Must have working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation Maine Inspection License is required Responsibilities Performing quality inspections of vehicle repairs prior to returning the vehicle to the customer. Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems (engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.). Communicating directly with the service advisor, so customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Test-driving vehicles, and testing components and systems, using equipment such as infrared engine analyzers, compression gauges and computerized diagnostic devices.
