Overview Join Sunday River's team as a Road Maintenance Technician! This position takes care of plowing and sanding resort roads, parking lots, and walking paths during and after winter weather to keep guests and team members safe going to ski or work . The ideal candidate will be comfortable working alone and in inclement weather conditions. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment and vehicles for road and parking lot maintenance Load trucks with sand and salt and spread in vehicle traffic and foot traffic areas Perform clean up processes after storms to ensure resort wide travel is functioning Repair, ditch, and edge roads Work both days and nights when needed according to weather Performing tasks safely on a daily/nightly basis Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old A CDL-B license is preferred, but not mandatory Previous plowing experience is preferred.
