ACX Auto Services is hiring a licensed Mechanical Service Technician (experienced apprentice's welcome!) to join our rapidly growing team. If you thrive on troubleshooting complex issues and want to work in a modern shop equipped with top-tier tools and technology (all equipment setup 2024 or newer), this is the role for you. Work with cutting-edge diagnostics, alignment, and calibration equipment installed no older than 2024.

Your area of focus. The Mechanical Technician is responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles that have been damaged in accidents or collisions. This includes inspecting and evaluating damage, removing and replacing damaged parts, repairing dents, refinishing surfaces, and ensuring all repairs meet safety and quality standards. A licensed technician that is capable of doing framework, big and small repairs and does everything using OEM procedures. What drives your day-to-day? Review damage reports, prepare and review repair cost estimates and plan work to be performed Perform quality repairs on a variety of vehicles Strong diagnostic capabilities Prior experience with Calibration & Diagnostics is a major asset Driven, detail-oriented, and excited to master modern vehicle technology. Mask and tape, prime and paint body surfaces, using tools such as paint spray guns and motorized sanders Inspect repaired vehicles for proper completion of work, dimensional accuracy, and overall appearance of paint job Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as specified on the RO efficiently and accurately, completing all tasks in accordance with dealer and OEM standards Performing multi-point inspections to make appropriate repair recommendations while ensuring the safety and reliability of any repaired vehicle before it is returned to the customer Documenting all work performed on the vehicle RO by creating a history on the associated repair order, in a manner consistent with OEM standards, ensuring payment for warranty work is provided by the manufacturer What are the must-haves Licensed Automotive Service Technician (Journeyman/Red Seal) or Experienced Apprentice Completion of a related post-secondary program and or training courses Knowledge of manufacturers' repair/refinishing processes & adherence to processes Ability to use selected vendor materials efficiently and cost-effectively I-CAR certification training and I-CAR certification would be considered assets Must possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving history Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment Ability to work independently and as part of a team High level of integrity and work ethic. Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record. The Perks.
