Job Description
Central Maine Motors Auto Group is hiring for Experienced Certified Technicians of all brands at all three of our climate controlled state of the art facilities Dealerships; Central Maine Toyota, Central Maine Chevy-Buick and Central Maine Chrysler. We have an opening for an experienced technician that is seeking to join a top notch Dealership organization with numerous advancement opportunities available. At Central Maine Motors, our teams of highly trained and skilled technicians work hard to ensure every customer leaves the shop happy and satisfied. Our shop is clean, current on technology, service information and networking and is booming with business! Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assesses and analyzes repair orders and plans work to be performed. Collaborates with Parts Advisor and other Service Department Staff to procure parts and/or accessories required for repair. Performs Maine State Inspections. Performs routine service i.e. lube chassis, check and top off all fluid levels, change oil and filter, reset oil life monitor system, inspect filters, rotate tires, set tire pressures, and relearn tpms sensors as needed. Diagnoses and repairs vehicle to factor specs. using a variety of tools, which must be supplied by the technician. Performs and completes report card on all customer repair orders ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and meeting customer delivery expectations. Communicates repair work information to Production Manager and/or Service Advisor and documents repair work in DMS system. Mentors entry-level technicians in order to develop technicians' skills. Reviews completed work to ensure quality of repairs. Performs work according to policies and procedures, and maintains a clean and safe working environment. Completes and maintains Factory and Dealer Training and Certification. Accurately records time spent on repairs utilizing company time clocking procedures. Ensures applicable diagnostic worksheets are completed and factory required documentation standards are met on the back of repair orders. Advises Production Manager or Service Manager of any supply issues or concerns with tools or equipment. Works as a team and maintains positive working relationships with other technicians and Service Department staff. Adherence to our commitment to taking care of people.
