Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems, including engines, electrical systems, and transmissions. Conduct repairs on powertrain components, engines, and vehicle systems with precision, utilizing hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment. Repair and maintain standard passenger cars to ensure reliable operation. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics accurately to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively. Execute alignment procedures and vehicle maintenance tasks to uphold safety standards and enhance vehicle longevity. Collaborate with team members to perform auto body repairs when necessary, ensuring quality workmanship throughout the repair process. Adhere to safety protocols during manual handling, heavy lifting, and use of power tools to maintain a safe working environment for all staff. Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic background with a strong understanding of automotive engine technology. Hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing automotive electrical systems, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and vehicle wiring diagrams. Skilled in using automotive diagnostic tools and interpreting schematics for efficient troubleshooting. Demonstrated ability to perform engine repairs on both gasoline and diesel engines with mechanical precision. Familiarity with automotive maintenance procedures including wheel alignment, vehicle systems inspection, and auto body repair. Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques and manual handling safety practices in an automotive setting. Prior experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus; however, all qualified candidates with relevant mechanic experience are encouraged to apply.
