Job Description
Automotive Technician (A-Level) — The Burton Garage Burton, MI | Monday to Friday, No Weekends The pay $40 to $50 an hour, flat rate, with a weekly guarantee so a slow week doesn't sink your paycheck 401(k) with match, health insurance, paid holidays, paid vacation Paid uniforms Paid training The shop Family business in Burton, MI. 8 bays, with room to add more 10 years in business and we've grown every one of them Good reputation around town and online, and we work to keep it that way We try to give our techs what they need to actually get the job done, and we care about life outside the shop too The schedule Monday through Friday. No weekends, no late nights, no on-call The job Review and evaluate customer concerns Diagnose mechanical problems and repair vehicles in a timely manner Perform routine maintenance on cars and trucks Repair internal engine components Communicate with writers and explain what work a vehicle actually needs Keep your technical knowledge current on how vehicles operate, repair, and service You 5+ years of shop experience State of Michigan certification, minimum Enthusiastic, customer-oriented, and can keep up in a fast-paced shop Take pride in doing the job right Not looking for someone who's fine doing it halfway.
