Job Description:
The tractor-trailer driver will safely and efficiently drive a tanker, straight-truck, box truck, or other appropriate vehicle to transport non-hazardous and hazardous (with proper licensing) liquid waste water to various customer locations in a timely and professional manner. Key Responsibilities:
Operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) according to DOT regulations Utilize assigned route while obeying all traffic laws and safety regulations Maneuver CMV into loading and unloading areas Assist with loading and unloading of products, using specialized equipment when warranted, and returns all equipment to designated area Maintain signed invoices, bills of lading, and other required paperwork; deliver documentation to dispatch when work orders are complete Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and reports maintenance malfunctions to the fleet manager and dispatch Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Valid Commercial Driver's License Class A and tanker endorsement Option to obtain hazmat endorsement Clean driving record Must pass criminal background screening and pre-employment drug screen Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers Ability to handle prolonged periods of sitting in a cab Ability to remain focused in busy environments Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds
Work Environment:
