Need someone who can cover consistently for night shift when necessary. Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Front Counter Associate at our vehicle rental and automotive service center! In this energetic role, you will be the friendly face greeting customers, managing rental transactions, and coordinating vehicle services. Whether assisting with vehicle rentals, explaining service options, or handling administrative tasks, your proactive approach will keep our customers satisfied and our business thriving. Responsibilities Welcome customers warmly and assist with rental agreements, vehicle check-in/out, and related inquiries Upsell additional services such as insurance coverage, vehicle upgrades, or maintenance packages to maximize customer satisfaction and revenue Manage cash handling accurately during transactions, including payments, deposits, and refunds Coordinate with the service team to schedule vehicle repairs, maintenance appointments, and diagnostics Provide detailed explanations of automotive repairs or services needed based on customer concerns or mechanic recommendations Maintain organized records of rentals, service orders, and customer interactions for seamless operations Assist with basic vehicle inspections and ensure rental vehicles are clean, fueled, and ready for customer use Requirements Previous dealership experience or automotive service management background is highly preferred Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and repair procedures such as oil changes, brake repairs, alignments, suspensions, transmissions, tire services, shocks & struts, diesel engine repairs, air brake systems, and auto body repair is a plus Familiarity with auto estimating software and service writing processes to accurately document repairs and costs Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining excellent customer relationships Mechanical knowledge or mechanic experience that supports understanding of vehicle issues and repairs Experience in auto sales or automobile sales is advantageous but not required Capable of handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment This role is paid and offers an engaging environment where your automotive expertise meets exceptional customer service.
