Pay:
$70,000-$120,000+ per year State-Certified Automotive Technician - No Weekends Are you an experienced technician who wants to spend your day diagnosing and repairing vehicles—not chasing parts, writing estimates, or dealing with customers? Grand Pointe Automotive has been proudly serving the community since 1950. Today, we are a busy, family-owned, 11-bay repair facility in Grand Blanc, Michigan. We're looking for an experienced, State of Michigan-certified automotive technician to join our team. Why technicians choose

Paid vacation Paid holidays Health, dental, and vision insurance Tool insurance Disability insurance 401(k) retirement plan with company match Employee discount What you'll do: Inspect, diagnose, and repair a variety of makes and models Perform routine maintenance and general repairs Complete advanced repairs such as timing chains, engine replacements, electrical diagnostics, steering, suspension, and brake repairs Accurately diagnose vehicle concerns with minimal supervision Work efficiently while maintaining high standards for safety and repair quality Contribute to a professional, team-oriented shop environment Required qualifications: Current State of Michigan automotive mechanic certifications At least two years of professional automotive repair experience Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Ability to complete repairs with little to no supervision Valid driver's license Personal set of automotive tools Dependable attendance and punctuality Professional, safety-minded approach to work Preferred qualifications: Multiple State of Michigan automotive mechanic certifications ASE certification(s) Experience with advanced mechanical and electrical diagnosis If you're an experienced, State-certified technician looking for steady work, strong support, excellent benefits, and weekends off, we'd like to talk with you.
