You play a key role in building trusting relationships, communicating service needs clearly, and guiding guests through their automotive care. While local shuttle driving and minor errand support are occasionally needed, your primary focus will be delivering exceptional service on the front counter and advising our guests.

Key Responsibilities Service Advising & Guest Experience:

Greet guests warmly, listen to their vehicle concerns, write up service orders, explain recommended maintenance/repairs, and guide guests smoothly through check-in and check-out.

Appointment Scheduling & Communication:

Answer phone calls, schedule service appointments, and provide timely updates to guests regarding their vehicles. Shuttle & Errand Support (As Needed): Provide safe, courteous shuttle transportation for guests when required and assist with local parts pick-ups or shop errands.

Shop & Administrative Coordination:

Assist with receiving parts, maintaining shop documentation, handling basic clerical tasks (filing, accounts receivable), and keeping the guest reception area clean and welcoming.

Community & Team Alignment:

Serve as an ambassador for our store, collaborate effectively with shop technicians, and maintain a heart for service consistent with Christian Brothers values.

Qualifications Service Advisor Experience:

Required. Proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or Service Writer with a solid understanding of automotive repair processes and terminology.

Customer Service Excellence:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven track record of building trust and resolving guest inquiries with empathy and professionalism.

Valid Driver's License:

Valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record meeting insurance requirements.

Work Ethic & Mindset:

Detail-oriented, organized, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, receptive to coaching, and strong at multitasking.

Physical Demands:

Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear; occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs; ability to balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
