Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across vehicle systems. Repair and maintain powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and drivetrain systems. Conduct vehicle suspension system repairs and alignments to ensure safe handling and ride quality. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and automotive electrical systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to execute repairs efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Service vehicle maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid replacements. Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs, estimated timelines, and maintenance recommendations to enhance customer service experience. Requirements Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems such as powertrain, transmission, suspension, electrical wiring, and ADAS technology. Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance procedures including alignment, transmission system repair, diesel engine repair, and vehicle systems troubleshooting. Ability to interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics accurately. Experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Familiarity with auto estimating processes for repairs and parts ordering is a plus.
