Duties Conduct thorough diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and suspension system repairs to ensure vehicle longevity. Repair and replace critical mechanical systems including transmissions, powertrain components, brakes, shocks & struts. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to execute repairs efficiently and safely. Work on complex systems such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brakes, and automotive electrical systems with precision. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems effectively. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring vehicle safety standards are met or exceeded. Experience Proven dealership experience OR extensive background working in the automotive repair industry with a focus on mechanical systems repair. Demonstrated expertise in automotive diagnostics, transmission repair, diesel engine repair, and suspension system repair. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, ADAS technology, heavy equipment mechanics, and GM vehicles is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance procedures such as oil changes, wheel alignments, tire service, and brake repairs. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by the ability to read schematics and operate various power tools safely. Prior experience working with automotive service departments or auto body repair shops is advantageous. Valid certification as a licensed Auto Technician or equivalent certification demonstrating your expertise in automotive repair.
