Job Description & Skill Requirement:

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair prototype vehicle electrical and mechanical systems. Fabricate and/or modify prototype components and fixtures. Install vehicle instrumentation and test equipment. Install instrumentation, test equipment, and other prototype vehicle components in accordance with engineering specifications, standards, and test procedures. Conduct vehicle test drives.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 7 years of professional automotive technician experience. EV/Hybrid vehicle experience is required. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong automotive electrical knowledge. Understanding of zonal vehicle architecture. High-voltage electrical knowledge and training. Working knowledge of CAN/LIN communication networks. Fabrication and instrumentation experience. Strong mechanical aptitude. Strong communication skills.

Additional Requirements:

Location:

Novi, Michigan, with support at nearby proving grounds as required. Up to 70% travel within the continental United States may be required.

Pay:

$55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
