Duties Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake repairs, and suspension work (shocks and struts). Diagnose vehicle issues using appropriate tools and techniques. Conduct repairs on various automotive systems, including air brake systems. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Utilize welding skills for necessary repairs or modifications. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly. Experience Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic, preferably in a dealership environment. Familiarity with GM vehicles is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with brake repair, shocks, struts, and general automotive service. Knowledge of auto body repair techniques is a plus. Ability to transmit diagnostic information effectively to team members and customers. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
