Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining and repairing equipment. The successful applicant will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our machinery and equipment, and must have a strong understanding of hydraulics, cranes, and air brake systems. This is a hands-on role that requires a high level of mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn and troubleshoot issues.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues
• Use hand tools and power tools to repair and maintain equipment
• Conduct preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Install, inspect, and maintain shock absorbers and struts
• Inspect and test machinery and equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and meet deadlines
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on machinery and equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a service technician or mechanic
• Strong understanding of hydraulics, cranes, and air brake systems
• Experience with hand tools and power tool
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
• Physical stamina to perform heavy labor
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset All possible new employees must pass a drug screen and background check.
