About the Job Afternoon/Night Shift Dan's is looking for an Experienced Heavy-Duty Truck Mechanic to maintain a fleet of water trucks, gravel trains, low boy trailers & bucket trucks. This position will entail performing basic preventative maintenance and services, light diesel engine & transmission repair and the repair of electrical systems and braking systems.
Job Requirements & Responsibilities:
Basic Diesel Engine knowledge & understanding Ability to repair & adjust Air brakes Understanding of air & hydraulic systems Ability to diagnose & test electrical systems & faults Clutch adjustments & replacements Understanding of diesel emissions systems Performing preventative maintenance on time Must have own tools & reliable transportation Commercial Driver's License is required with a Valid DOT Medical Card Must be able to pass a preplacement drug test & physical
