Automotive Technician A or High B Level Automotive Technician | $30-$40/hr + Production Bonus | Up to $116K+
Location:
Sturgis, Michigan Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM-5:30 PM |
No Weekends Pay Rate:
$20.00-$46.00 per hour (depending on experience / skills / licenses)

Up to approximately $116,000+ annually Introduction We are seeking an experienced A Level or High B Level Automotive Technician to join a well-established independent automotive repair shop in Sturgis, Michigan. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled technician or a strong diagnostic-focused B Level technician looking to grow with a respected, long-standing team. You'll work Monday through Friday in a supportive, family-oriented environment with competitive hourly pay, performance bonuses, and modern diagnostic equipment. Key Responsibilities Perform advanced drivability and electrical diagnostics. Diagnose and repair domestic, Asian, and select European vehicles. Complete brake, suspension, steering, and general mechanical repairs. Accurately inspect vehicles and recommend necessary repairs. Utilize digital vehicle inspections to communicate findings. Perform repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Work collaboratively with advisors and fellow technicians to deliver exceptional customer service. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Qualifications 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience. A Level Automotive Technician or High Level B Technician with strong diagnostic abilities. Proven experience performing drivability and electrical diagnostics. Experience working on domestic, Asian, and European vehicles. Michigan State Mechanic Certification(s) required. ASE Certifications are preferred. Positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset. Compensation & Benefits Compensation $20.00-$40.00 per hour based on experience, state license, skills Production bonus ranging from approximately $1-$6 per hour based on flagged hours. Earning potential up to approximately $116,000+ annually. Weekly pay every Friday. Monthly performance bonus. Christmas bonus based on flagged hours. Tool relocation assistance available. Benefits
