Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, powertrains, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and wheel alignments. Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and brake repairs with precision and efficiency. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs and maintenance tasks. Work with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and perform calibration procedures to ensure modern vehicle safety features operate correctly. Follow dealership standards for vehicle maintenance and repair procedures while adhering to safety protocols. Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs and service recommendations to enhance customer service experience. Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive background working in the automotive repair industry is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including diesel engines, automatic transmissions, and electrical systems. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and schematics for troubleshooting complex issues. Familiarity with heavy equipment mechanics or auto body repair is a plus. Experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is advantageous but not required. Knowledge of automotive suspension systems, wheel alignment techniques, and tire service procedures. Ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools in a fast-paced environment.
