Schram Auto & Truck Parts is a family owned and operated automotive salvage yard that has been in the business of selling new and used auto parts for over 100 years. We value and are dedicated to our employees. Come be part of our team. Please no phone calls This position is responsible for extracting and contain all fluids from vehicles before dismantling.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Obtain list of vehicles from supervisor that need to be drained for the day Remove all top fluids including brake, antifreeze, washer solvent, and power steering Drain all fluids from the vehicles including engine oil, transmission oil, radiator coolant, and AC refrigerant Pull radiators, drive shafts and gas tanks from vehicles Fuel tanks must be pumped daily and put into a location or scrap
Credentials and Experience:
Prefer automotive knowledge Must own your own basic tools Experience is a plus - willing to train Maintains a clean and safe work area Punctual - great attendance is a must Steel/Composite toe shoes required
Monday-Friday:
