Job Description

School Age Before/After Care Coordinator ECE Subhub is hiring a School Age Before/After Care Coordinator to support a before and after school care program in the Waterford School District. This is a split shift role, Monday through Friday, with a morning shift before school and an afternoon shift after school. We believe children thrive when they are supported by caring, dependable, and engaged adults, and we believe our staff should feel supported, prepared, and valued in the work they do. Support you can expect Training and guidance before your first day A Regional Manager who is reachable during your shift Consistent weekday hours at one location What you will do You will lead the daily before and after school care program and help create a safe, positive, and engaging environment for school age children.
Responsibilities may include:
Supervising children to keep them safe during before and after school hours Planning and leading age appropriate activities, games, and homework time Managing daily routines, including arrival, snack, and dismissal Building positive relationships with children, families, and school staff Maintaining a warm and professional presence in the program Qualifications We are looking for candidates who meet one or more of the following: Associate degree or 18 college credits in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Human Services, Youth or Family Studies, or Elementary Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Family or Youth Studies, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education with ZA or ZS endorsement, Human Services, or Child Development Current CDA credential Experience working with school age children is preferred.
Preferred:
CPR Adult and Pediatric Certification. If you are not currently certified, we will provide certification.

Part-time Pay:
$15 to $22 per hour
Schedule:
Split shift, Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 9:00 am and 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm
