Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our fast-paced dealership team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive repairs and maintenance services. Your enthusiasm, mechanical knowledge, and exceptional customer service skills will drive customer satisfaction and loyalty. You will coordinate vehicle repairs, provide accurate auto estimates, and ensure a smooth flow of communication between customers and our skilled technicians. Duties Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Explain automotive diagnostics, repair options, and maintenance procedures clearly and professionally Prepare detailed auto estimates using auto estimating software, ensuring accuracy for parts and labor costs Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, brake repairs, suspension work, and transmission services to maximize customer value Coordinate with service technicians to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and communicate updates to customers Manage service writing tasks efficiently while maintaining thorough documentation of all transactions Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments securely at the point of sale Promote automotive repair services including diesel engine repair, auto body work, air brake systems, shocks & struts, wheel alignments, tire services, and other mechanical repairs Foster strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional service experience from initial greeting through vehicle pick-up Qualifications Proven dealership experience or background in auto service management preferred Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics and repair procedures Experience with auto estimating software and service writing is highly desirable Knowledge of various automotive systems including transmissions, oil changes, brake systems, suspensions, alignments, tires, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell services confidently and ethically Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining professionalism under pressure Prior experience in auto sales or automobile sales is a plus Mechanical experience or background as a service technician enhances your effectiveness in this role Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering top-tier automotive care!
