This position requires performing skilled maintenance and repairs on company vehicles and fleet equipment to ensure safety, reliability, and adherence to DOT and OSHA standards. Duties include issue diagnosis, routine inspections, preventive maintenance, record-keeping, inventory control, and occasional travel to branch sites. Mechanical expertise, a strong focus on safety, and effective multi-tasking abilities in a high-paced setting are necessary.

Job Responsibilities:

Maintain company vehicles and fleet equipment, including semis, trucks, cars, and hi-lo's, ensuring safe operation. Provide exceptional service and foster positive customer experiences. Diagnose, repair, and rebuild vehicles and equipment. Conduct thorough inspections and preventive maintenance routines. Sustain accurate records, reports, and organized workspaces. Manage parts inventory and coordinate with external service vendors. Travel to other branches for onsite repairs as required. Retain all necessary DOT certifications and comply fully with DOT, FMCSA, and OSHA regulations. Exhibit reliable attendance and consistently prioritize safety.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Comprehensive understanding of vehicle/equipment repair methods, materials, tools, and techniques. Proficiency in diagnosing and executing mechanical repairs using various tools and diagnostic equipment. Familiarity with DOT, FMCSA, and OSHA regulations. Capability to prioritize and manage tasks efficiently within a rapidly changing environment. Strong communication, problem-solving, and stress management skills. Basic mathematics skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). CDL A license, preferred

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent; or Minimum of five years' experience in vehicle/equipment repair and maintenance; or Equivalent combination of education and experience.
