Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers, keeping their vehicles running smoothly and reliably. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems. Repair and maintain powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and drive systems, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications. Conduct vehicle suspension system repairs, wheel alignments, and steering system diagnostics to optimize handling and safety. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams for electrical system troubleshooting, including automotive electrical systems and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs efficiently and safely. Service vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements while maintaining high quality standards. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly, estimating costs accurately, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Qualifications Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, including the use of advanced diagnostic tools and schematics interpretation. Mechanical knowledge of powertrain systems, vehicle transmission systems, diesel engines, and vehicle electrical systems. Hands-on experience with vehicle suspension system repair, wheel alignment procedures, and automotive wiring diagram interpretation. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not required. Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive electrical components safely and effectively. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Knowledge of auto estimating processes and service documentation practices is a plus. $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
