Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as a Used Car Mechanic and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle service and repair. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of used vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards, so that they can be lot ready for customers to buy. Your expertise will help us provide reliable, high-quality vehicles to our customers, enhancing their driving experience and satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy equipment mechanics techniques to complete repairs efficiently. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and communicate effectively with team members to ensure quality service delivery. Qualifications Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a focus on used vehicle maintenance. Dealership experience or background in automotive service is highly preferred. Proficiency with automotive diagnostics tools and schematics for accurate troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with brake repair, wheel alignment, tire service, shocks & struts replacement, and auto body repair is desirable. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery safely and effectively. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain repairs clearly to clients. Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
