Job Summary This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in keeping things organized and operational, and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a construction team. The successful candidate will help transport equipment and materials, complete project punch-list items, maintain company vehicles and equipment, support field crews, and keep our facilities and grounds in excellent condition. Responsibilities Transport trucks, trailers, tools, materials, and equipment to and from jobsites, vendors, and the company headquarters. Assist project teams with completing punch-list items and general jobsite tasks. Perform routine inspections, cleaning, minor repairs, and basic maintenance on fleet vehicles, trailers, tools, and construction equipment. Coordinate or assist with scheduling repairs, preventive maintenance, inspections, registrations, and service appointments. Load, unload, secure, and organize tools, materials, and equipment safely. Help maintain accurate records of vehicle, trailer, and equipment condition, maintenance, and usage. Assist the footings and foundation crew as needed, including general labor and site support. Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouses, shops, storage areas, offices, yards, and company grounds. Assist with snow removal, landscaping, debris removal, groundskeeping, and seasonal facility maintenance as needed. Help prepare and organize equipment and materials for upcoming projects. Support jobsite deliveries, pickups, cleanup, and general logistics. Identify maintenance, safety, or operational issues and communicate them to management. Follow company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and safe driving practices. Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned. Requirements Previous experience in construction, fleet maintenance, facilities maintenance, equipment operation, delivery, landscaping, or a related field preferred. Valid driver's CDL license and a safe driving record required. Ability to operate pickup trucks, trailers, and common construction equipment safely. Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance. General knowledge of construction tools, materials, and jobsite practices. Ability to read and follow instructions, use basic hand and power tools, and work safely. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Dependable, punctual, self-motivated, and willing to take initiative. Ability to communicate effectively with project managers, supervisors, field crews, vendors, and coworkers.
CDL, OSHA
training, equipment certifications, or trade experience are a plus but not required. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to approximately [50-75] pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, reach, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to safely enter and exit trucks, trailers, equipment, and jobsites. Ability to work around construction equipment, vehicles, tools, dust, noise, and uneven terrain. Ability to work occasional early mornings, extended hours, or weekends when business needs require.
