Responsibilities:

Frame Alignment & Vehicle Repairs:

Perform frame straightening, heavy-duty wheel alignments, and structural trailer repairs on a variety of commercial vehicles.

Diagnose, service, and repair vehicle electrical wiring, suspension systems, and air/hydraulic brakes.

Perform high-quality structural welding and grinding tasks. ...

Equipment Installation & Upfitting:

Install, repair, and service truck hoists, hydraulic systems, lift platforms, tarps, snowplows, and aftermarket commercial truck accessories.

Complete DOT vehicle inspections or train to obtain DOT inspector certification.

Shop Safety & Operations:

Work effectively both independently and in two-person technician teams to complete daily repair orders.

Adhere to all shop safety protocols, including wearing steel-toe boots and safety glasses.

Safely lift and move materials up to 50 lbs, utilizing overhead cranes, forklifts, and two-person lifts for heavy components.

Certifications:

Current DOT Inspection Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Alignment & Frame Tech:

Hands-on experience operating commercial frame straightening and alignment equipment.

Diagnostic Skills:

Strong mechanical troubleshooting, electrical diagnostics, and problem-solving skills.

Quality & Detail:

High commitment to craftsmanship, safety, and precise repair work.

Education:

Qualifications:

Welding Experience:

2+ years of professional welding experience required.

Physical Capability:

Ability to perform physical tasks continuously, including standing, squatting, bending, twisting, reaching, gripping, wrenching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
