Job Overview Join our dynamic automotive service team as an Automotive Technician - A, where your expertise will drive excellence in vehicle maintenance and repair. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Execute routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance. Repair and replace automotive components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair techniques. Work on complex systems including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brake systems, and auto body repairs when necessary. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Requirements Proven dealership or automotive repair industry experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems repair. Hands-on experience working with diesel engines, heavy equipment mechanics, GM vehicles (preferred), and transmissions. Proficiency in using schematics, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools effectively. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, suspension systems, alignment procedures, brake repair, and tire service. Ability to work safely with auto body repair tools and adhere to safety protocols related to heavy equipment mechanics and welding. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid certification or licensing related to automotive repair is a plus; ongoing training or certifications are encouraged to stay current with industry advancements.
