Automotive Dismantler / Auto Parts Technician Sells It Inc. - Dayton, MN Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 40 Hours per
Week Pay:
$20.00-$30.00 per hour (Based on Experience) About Us Sells It Inc. is a growing used auto parts recycler serving customers throughout the region. We take pride in providing quality recycled automotive parts while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient workplace. We are looking for an experienced Automotive Dismantler who enjoys working on vehicles and has the mechanical knowledge to accurately identify, test, and remove quality automotive parts. Responsibilities Dismantle cars, trucks, and SUVs safely and efficiently. Remove engines, transmissions, body panels, suspension components, electrical parts, and other automotive components without causing unnecessary damage. Diagnose and test certain vehicle systems and components before removal when appropriate. Accurately identify and inspect parts for resale. Follow inventory procedures and document removed parts correctly. Work with inventory software and parts management systems. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all company safety procedures and use equipment properly. Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals. Qualifications Previous automotive repair, mechanic, or automotive dismantling experience required. Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components. Ability to diagnose basic vehicle issues and determine part functionality. Must have a solid mechanical aptitude. Experience with automotive recycling or salvage yard operations is a plus. Experience with Car-Part and/or Checkmate inventory systems is highly preferred. Must be dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently. Ability to safely lift heavy automotive parts and work in a physically demanding environment. Valid driver's license required. Preferred Qualifications Own basic automotive hand tools. Experience operating forklifts or other shop equipment (training available if needed). Welding or fabrication experience is a plus but not required. Compensation & Benefits $20.00-$30.00 per hour, depending on experience. Monday through Friday schedule - enjoy your weekends off. 40-hour work week with opportunities for overtime when available.
