Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Technician - B to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will perform a wide range of vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks, ensuring our customers' vehicles operate safely and efficiently. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service, uphold quality standards, and contribute to the overall success of our dealership. This position offers an exciting opportunity for mechanics with dealership experience who are eager to grow their skills in a fast-paced environment. Duties Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Perform repairs on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and powertrain components. Use schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot and repair complex automotive problems effectively. Carry out routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements. Repair or replace vehicle parts using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools. Perform wheel alignments and calibrate Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Inspect and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and other mechanical components with precision and attention to detail. Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair findings clearly to customers while providing excellent customer service. Experience Proven experience as an automotive technician or service technician is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle makes and models, including GM vehicles if applicable. Hands-on experience with automotive electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and diagnostics tools. Familiarity with automotive service procedures such as auto estimating, vehicle maintenance, and repairs involving powertrain components. Knowledge of ADAS calibration, wheel alignment techniques, diesel engine repair, and welding is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive equipment. Pay:
$26.47 - $35.00 per hour
